Pete Peterson Paddleboard Unveiling

Join us for the unveiling of a historic paddleboard at the Hermosa Beach Museum on Saturday, August 31! Originally built in the 1930s, this paddleboard was owned by famed waterman Pete Peterson and donated to the museum by decorated paddleboarder Jim Mollica. Local historian and museum board member Mark Shoemaker will present on the history of the board and hold a Q&A with Jim Mollica. Don’t miss this exclusive event! The unveiling will take place from 2pm to 5pm with the presentation beginning at 2:30pm. RSVP preferred, walk-ins are welcome; beverages will be available for purchase.
