Chamber President/CEO Transition

Dear Members and Friends of the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce,

It is with mixed emotions that I write to you today to announce my departure from the role of President and CEO of the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce. Since joining this incredible community in February 2021, it has been an honor and privilege to serve as your leader and advocate.

Together, we have weathered unprecedented challenges and uncertainties brought on by the global pandemic. I am immensely proud of the resilience and determination demonstrated by our local businesses during these trying times. Through our collective efforts, we have not only survived but thrived, emerging stronger and more united than ever before.

I am particularly proud of the positive changes we have implemented to enhance the Chamber's impact and effectiveness. Our membership has grown by leaps and bounds, increasing by more than 100% under my tenure and we have successfully implemented long term revenue streams that keep the Chamber resilient for many years to come. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the trust and confidence our business community has placed in Chamber leadership.

Moreover, the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce has evolved into a well respected and dynamic organization, dedicated to assisting businesses of all sizes, sectors, and types. Together, we have fostered a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.

While my time as President and CEO may be coming to an end, my commitment to the Chamber remains unwavering. The transition to a new President/CEO may take several months and I intend to stay as long as it takes for the Chamber to continue successful operations under the new leadership and in the mission of the board of directors. The Chamber is my pride and joy and I intend to make sure no disruption is felt by any members.

In the coming months, I look forward to exploring opportunities to join the Board of Directors and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our Chamber. Additionally, I am eager to continue my efforts with the Hermosa Beach Chamber Foundation. As a founding member, I’m proud to be a part of a group of folks furthering our mission to support community events and traditions.

As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and friendship. It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for the memories we have shared and the achievements we have celebrated.

I have full confidence in the future of the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and the remarkable individuals who will lead it forward. Together, we will continue to make a positive and lasting impact on our beloved Hermosa community.
