Summer Science Beach Camp

Description

Activities may include: digging for sand crabs, playing in the waves, dissecting squid, learning about sharks, looking at plankton using a microscope, building sand sculptures, soda geyser explosions, making crafts, building a boat, doing experiments, touching live animals, playing beach games, and more! *A schedule of weekly activities is available on our website. http://roundhouseaquarium.org/summer-camp/ 2025 Guidelines: ? Small group size (approximately 12 campers and 4 counselors) that stays together all week ? Drop-off and pick-up windows (we are hoping to alleviate traffic congestion by spreading out the drop-off and pick-windows): o Drop-off 8:50am-9:10am o Pick-up 11:50am-12:10pm ? Campers must bring their own water and snack each day ? Campers must be able to carry their own backpack/bag with supplies ? Campers must be able to use the restroom on their own, and fully potty trained ? Campers MUST stay with their assigned group, which may be adjusted at staffs' discretion ? If your camper benefits from having an aide, we highly encourage you to send the aide to accompany them to camp and assist your child during camp *1 t-shirt included. Camp t-shirts are highly recommended each day (extra camp shirts can be purchased for $25 each). More details about what to bring, and drop-off/pick-up will be included in your confirmation email. Important Information: No refunds or credit without 3 business days notice for cancellation of any class -15% charge for all other cancellations -$20 charge for all class scheduling changes -There is a $15 charge per child for each 10 minutes a guardian is late for pick up -CPR/First aid certified staff present at all camps -All water activities done in front of LA county lifeguard tower
