Mental health challenges in the workplace can affect the productivity, performance and overall well-being of employees. Join Beach Cities Health District and Dr. Michele Nealon, President of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, who will provide her expertise on mental health and its impact on the workplace. While discussing mental health challenges like stress, anxiety, depression and burnout, Dr. Nealon will provide knowledge and strategies to support a healthy workforce by reducing work-related stressors, promoting work-life balance, encouraging open communication and collaboration, and addressing discrimination and stigma surrounding mental health. Beach Cities Health District will also share local resources available to employers and their workforce.

As President of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Michele Nealon leads one of the most successful non-profit professional graduate schools in the nation, directing campuses across the country that educate more than 6,000 students in the fields of psychology and related behavioral sciences. Her clinical experience also includes a variety of clinical settings with diverse groups of people including inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, forensic and academic settings. Dr. Nealon’s distinguished career reflects her dedication to ensuring that underserved populations receive the mental health care they need and deserve.
