Join Beach Cities Health District’s (BCHD) Director of Community Services, Emily Brosius LCSW, for an interactive workshop highlighting mental health in older age. We will focus on the ways in which purpose and social connection can promote happiness and protect against depression and cognitive decline. There will be opportunities to practice helpful strategies and set goals for the future together. Emily will also review the programs and services BCHD provides older adults to support their independence in their homes. We look forward to seeing you there!
