Hermosa Beach: Be Ready

Hermosa Beach residents are invited to attend an important event focused on enhancing our community's emergency preparedness. Please join us on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6 p.m. at City Hall in the City Council Chambers as we prepare to "Be Ready" for emergencies and natural disasters. During this event, representatives from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Hermosa Beach Police Department, and Hermosa Beach City Manager's Office will address critical topics such as beachfront safety, earthquake preparedness, and effective emergency response strategies. Your attendance and engagement are crucial in ensuring our community's resilience in the face of unexpected disasters.

For those who are not available to attend in person, the symposium will be made available on the City’s YouTube channel. Residents may submit questions in advance to oem@hermosabeach.gov so they may be answered during the live event.
