Come join the Sea Sprite Hotel in our annual Earth Day Beach Clean Up Event!

Don't worry! We will supply gloves, buckets, and hand sanitizer. Please feel free to bring your own bucket, bag, and trash grabber! Snacks and refillable water bottles will be available while supplies last.

Everyone is welcome to join our clean up, feel free to bring your friends and family!

You can come anytime between 9AM and 3PM. We will provide the necessary equipment to let you hunt for trash.

Please review our Gear List to ensure you are properly prepared. We strongly discourage the use of any single-use plastic at our beach cleanups.

Parking in this location can be limited - please plan accordingly. The hotel will not be able to provide parking.

There are inherent risks involved when participating in in-person and public events, including risks associated with COVID-19. Participation in a cleanup is voluntary and solely at a participant’s own risk, including risk of exposure, infection, and illness from COVID-19. Individuals should only participate to the extent that they are healthy and can comply with physical distancing and applicable federal, state, and local rules and restrictions.

Photo Release Agreement will be sign prior to participating in this event due to on site photography.

We are a small hotel that encourages people to make a positive impact on Earth.

Gear List:

1. Wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Hermosa Beach can be hot or cold, so we recommend layers!

2. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottles as physical activity and distance are involved.

3. We recommend wearing and bringing sunscreen. The event is outside with no protection from the heat or other elements.

4. Wearing a hat is also recommended to further protect you from the sun and other elements. Feel free to wear sunglasses. Especially during our hotter days!
