“Cash for College” Event at El Camino Offers Financial Aid Assistance
Prospective students, along with new/current students and their families, are invited to learn how El Camino College makes higher education accessible and affordable.
El Camino's annual Cash For College financial aid resource event is open to the public and set to run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 3 and 24 at the Student Services Building. Everyone is encouraged to register now for this free event that will offer information about applying for financial aid and finding services and resources that can lead to a successful college experience. Eligible students can enter a $1,500 scholarship raffle from the California Student Aid Commission, and participants can join parent info sessions and find financial aid counseling assistance at the event.
Sponsored by El Camino College’s Financial Aid Office and Basic Needs Center, staff members will also be available to answer questions and offer additional information.
The El Camino Community College District encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation, or have questions about the physical access provided, please email eccfaid@elcamino.edu as soon as possible, but no later than seven days prior to the event.
Parking is free in Lot C, located on Manhattan Beach Boulevard, and a free In-N-Out lunch will be provided to those who register before the event. For more information, visit the Cash for College webpage on the El Camino College website.
