50 Years of Iron Man

The Hermosa Beach Museum is proud to recognize 50 Years of Iron Man as the subject of our summer rotating exhibit. This historic South Bay tradition has become the triathlon event for Hermosa Beach every July 4th weekend, and also the supporter of local nonprofits and citizens in need. Featuring the catch phrase run, paddle, chug this event never fails to be described as the last of the wild, old school, local community beach events that keeps Hermosa, Hermosa. Join us at the Museum as we celebrate this cultural legacy and unveil a new exhibit. We will also at the event have a special edition coffee table book by local photographer Chris Miller for sale, and special edition Iron Man Anniversary prints by local artist Daniel Inez. This exhibit will run from June 30th to September 29th, with the opening event taking place at the Museum on Friday June 30th from 5-9 PM.
