DESCRIPTION:Are you a high school student interested in how sports go down in history? At the Hermosa Beach Museum\, you can take part in writing skateboarding's story as a volunteer research assistant. Taking on the role of a museum registrar\, you will gain real-world experience in research\, data organization\, and interpretation as you help document our collection of over 100 skateboards. Optionally\, you may write brief descriptions of your favorite boards to be published on the museum website or social media. Enroll here to take part in one or both of our workshops on Sundays December 8th and 15th from 12pm to 4pm.\n\n\n\nPhotographs may be taken during this event for use in museum promotional materials\; please inform staff if you would not like photographs.
