DESCRIPTION:The Hermosa Beach Museum is proud to announce our upcoming summer rotating exhibit\, Echoes from the Edge: A Cultural History of Jazz and Punk in Hermosa Beach.\n\n\n\nJoin us for the opening event and Punk Rock Art Show on Thursday July 17th from 6-8 PM.\n\n\n\nHermosa Beach has long been more than just a sunny coastal town   it has served as a creative refuge for groundbreaking artists and musicians. Echoes from the Edge explores the unique cultural crossroads where two seemingly opposite genres   jazz and punk   found a shared home that embraced innovation and artistic freedom.\n\n\n\nFrom the world-renowned stage of The Lighthouse Caf  to the raw energy of backyard punk shows\, this exhibit traces how Hermosa became a launchpad for both smooth improvisation and gritty defiance.
