DESCRIPTION:The Hermosa Beach Triathlon event includes a 1/4 mile ocean swim\, 10 mile bike ride (Valley/Ardmore loop) and a 3 mile run on the Strand.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, visit www.hermosabeachtri.com.\n\n\n\n ROAD CLOSURES & TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS FOR HERMOSA BEACH RESIDENTS\n\n\n\nThe Hermosa Beach Triathlon is on Sunday\, August 11\, 2023 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Hermosa Avenue will be open\, south of Pier\n\nAvenue\, for drivers to exit south on Hermosa Avenue into Redondo Beach. Drivers can exit to the north by driving to 27th Street or\n\nLongfellow and going east. Traffic will only be allowed to go south on Valley Drive between Gould Ave. and 2nd St.\, and traffic will only\n\nbe allowed to go north on Ardmore between 2nd St. and Gould. On Valley Drive there will be no traffic allowed thru Pier Ave\, all traffic\n\nwill be forced to turn.\n\n\n\nFor residents living between Valley and Ardmore on 2nd St.\, you will be unable to exit between 7am and 11 am. The Triathlon asks that you plan\n\nahead and have a car parked outside of the course should you need to leave.
