DESCRIPTION:Beach Cities Green Streets UPDATE: The City of Hermosa Beach has completed their initial community outreach and geotechnical surveys of the southwestern area of the city to determine which BMP (or Best Management Practice) would provide the most benefit when capturing stormwater runoff within this neighborhood. After reviewing the public's comments and the survey's findings\, the City of Hermosa Beach has determined that porous pavement is the optimal choice to capture the most runoff within this location.\n\n \n\nAs part of our continued commitment to keep our constituents informed\, the City of Hermosa Beach\, in coordination with CWE and Murakawa Communications\, will be hosting several pop-up table events at the Kay Etow Parkette (161 Herondo Ave\, Hermosa Beach\, 90254) to provide more information\, gather feedback from local stakeholders\, and answer any questions.
