DESCRIPTION:n anticipation of the Fall 2022 opening of the Student Social Justice Center\, and in response to the ongoing concerns about local hate crimes against members of the Asian American Pacific Island community\, as well as continued awareness about incidents of racism and hate crimes within the South Bay area\, El Camino College invites the public to join a "CommUnity Walk Against Hate" on campus Saturday\, March 26\, at 10 a.m.\n\n \n\nUnified by the motto\, "Hate Has No Home Here\," community members are welcome to join El Camino students\, faculty and staff on the steps in front of the Administration Building at the Crenshaw Boulevard campus entrance at 10 a.m. for a one-mile walk around campus to show public support for diversity\, tolerance\, and human dignity.
