DESCRIPTION:The Hermosa beach Museum in partnership with Manhattan Beach United is proud to present Grandpa Cherry Blossom\, a short documentary film made by Mira Costa High School (MCHS) Student Maddox Chen. This documentary explores the story of Francis M. Uyematsu\, who owned the land where MCHS stands today\, and a large part of the surrounding neighborhoods (120 acres) before Uyematsu and his family were incarcerated at Manzanar during WWII. \n\n\n\nTickets for this event will be released shortly- stay tuned!
