June 28, 2019 (HERMOSA BEACH, Calif.) – On Thursday, June 27th, the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce performed a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of new gastropub Crafty Minds Brews + Bites. Because the ribbon cutting was combined with the Chamber’s monthly networking mixer, the evening provided double the fun and festivities.

Andrew Ritchie, owner of Crafty Minds Brews + Bites, has created something truly unique – from eclectic coastal décor to playful entrée names. In addition to staples like burgers and flatbreads, the chef, Rahm Fama of the Food Network, has designed a menu of small plates called “runts”, allowing patrons to enjoy a variety of flavors with 16 craft beers on tap (or a wide selection of delectable wines).

“This was a beautiful kick off to summer! Our time was spent on the outdoor patio enjoying a variety of tastings from the delicious menu. Many of our guests exclaimed they would return,” said Maureen Hunt, President/CEO of the Chamber.

Maureen and Chamber staff were on-hand to perform the ribbon cutting ceremony. Chamber Board members Andrea Jacobsson, Rick Koenig and Kathy Dunbabin attended to give their support. Jake Ridout, representing Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi, also presented a congratulatory certificate.

Crafty Minds Brews + Bites is located at 1031 Hermosa Avenue in Hermosa Beach. For more information, find Crafty Minds Brews + Bites on Yelp.
