Learn about this state-of-the-art demonstration facility, which could lead to the nation’s largest recycled water project and a significant, new, local source of water for Southern California. The facility is part of the Regional Recycled Water Program, a partnership between the Sanitation Districts and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. At full scale, the program could produce up to 150 million gallons of purified water daily, enough to serve 500,000 homes.
