Muay Thai Seminar: Into To Sparring & Clinch
Muay Thai- kickboxing plus knees, elbows, and clinch. Whether you are totally new to the "Art-of-8-Limbs" or you've been training for a while, sparring can be both exciting and fun given the proper tools. Sparring is putting all of your fundamental techniques together in a creative and reactive way, similar to a chess game of skill and opportunity. Kru Jeng and Coach Adam wanted to put on a 3-hour seminar to a limited smaller group of individuals to teach the fundamentals of conduct and essential principles of sparring. Like any newer game, sport, or activity, the more you know, the more enjoyable it becomes! What is Clinch? If you've never seen or experienced clinch before, it may look like excessive hugging. While the average Muay Thai practitioner does enjoy the occasional hug, the clinch-game is far more intricate with control, dominant positioning, leverage, balance, and strategy (to name a few). Domineers of the clinch-game, Kru Jeng along with Coach Adam are excited to teach you the tactics and some fun tricks to become proficient at this masterful art. Clinch can be a sport all of its own and deserves time and attention to excel in this close-quarter skill. Limited Spaces! Our group is limited to a small group of participants. If you are interested in joining, that it FANTASTIC! We look forward to hosting this workshop so our members may learn the skills necessary to jump-start their Muay Thai practice to the next level. We love Muay Thai and we hope you do too!
