Attend West Basin's Town Hall on August 15 for Water Saving Tips & Drought Info West Basin Municipal Water District Board of Directors invites Hermosa Beach residents and businesses (Division III) to join in a district-wide conversation about the drought. Learn how mandated restrictions are impacting the community, and how together we can save more water. Please RSVP online by visiting www.westbasin.org/townhall. Experts from West Basin, along with water representatives from Golden State Water Company, California Water Service Company and Metropolitan Water District of Southern California will give updates on drought conditions and restrictions, tips on how to find free water conservation programs and rebates, and answers to questions. The Mayor of Inglewood, James T. Butts Jr. will kick off the event and welcome attendees to the city. West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) is a wholesale water agency that provides imported drinking water to nearly one million people in 17 cities and unincorporated areas in Los Angeles County. West Basin is an industry leader in water recycling, conservation, and water education. The agency is currently implementing a Water Reliability program to reduce the district?s dependence on imported water and develop drought-proof local water supplies.
