City's Recovery, Resiliency and Reopening Plan Introduced

The City of Hermosa Beach introduced its plan for the community's reopening and recovery at the City Council meeting Tuesday night. It is titled Hermosa SHINES. This name represents not only Hermosa's sunny weather and City seal but the SHINES part of the name is also an acronym that represents the six critical elements of the plan: Safety, Health, Infrastructure, New technology, Economic development and Service. By focusing the City's efforts on these six critical elements, Hermosa SHINES serves as a strategic guide to ensure that the community moves forward in a positive, cohesive and forward-thinking way. The Hermosa SHINES Plan is the consolidation of ongoing and planned initiatives and projects from all City departments. It will serve as a guide for the City's work over the next 12-18 months.
