DESCRIPTION:Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach presents LUNAFEST Saturday\, May 1 through Monday\, May 3. Lights! Camera! Advocacy! Become a champion of change at this year's LUNAFEST and watch the premiere of seven new films made by women\, about women. 100% of proceeds from your ticket will benefit Soroptimist programs for women and girls. The screening starts on May 1 at 9:00 a.m. for a 48 hour viewing window at home\, at your convenience. The festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent\, funny\, and thought-provoking themes. LUNAFEST connects women\, their stories and their causes through film and offers an opportunity to see short films which you may otherwise never have access to. This year\, a snack bag will be offered to all ticket holders\, with popcorn and treats! You must purchase your ticket no later than April 20 to participate\, and only those who opt-in will receive the bags.
