DESCRIPTION:The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday\, December 4 at 6 PM at the foot of the Hermosa Beach Pier.\n\n\nThe event will feature the official lighting of the Hermosa Beach Holiday Tree to help kick off the holiday season in Hermosa Beach.\n\n\nA fire truck from the Hermosa Beach Fire Department is scheduled to serve as the sleigh for Santa\, who\, along with Mrs. Claus\, will be available for photos in his chair as well as fielding holiday requests from children in attendance.\n\n\nThe same evening\, local businesses in the downtown area will be getting in the holiday spirit as they host open houses which will coincide with the tree lighting festivities.\n\n\nEvent goers are encouraged to bring a new\, unwrapped toy and wrapping paper to the tree which will be donated to the charities supported by the Annual Beach Cities Toy Drive.\n\n\nThose interested are encouraged to follow the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for updates.\n\n\nSpecial thanks to Southern California Edison and Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club for their sponsorship again this year.
