DESCRIPTION:South Bay Workforce Investment Board is proud to present its 2nd Virtual Blueprint for Workplace Success Youth Resource & Job Fair on June 17\, 2021. This Zoom event will feature 16 local businesses seeking to offer resources and hire youth for a variety of positions. Scheduled employers include Starbucks\, Amazon\, FedEx\, Walmart\, 7-11\, and more. This event is an opportunity to engage with employers while building your virtual professional skills.\n\n \n\nSession 1 takes place from 9am   11:40am\, targeted to ages 18+\n\n\n\nSession 2 takes place from 2pm   4:40pm\, targeted to youth under the age of 18\n\n \n\nJob Seekers Register Here.\n\n\n\nYouth jobseekers are invited to create 30 second "elevator speech" videos for attending employers.\n\nSelect videos will be featured during the event and WINNERS WILL BE AWARDED UP TO $500 IN PRIZES for "Most Professional Presentation."\n\nCreativity and innovation are encouraged in participant videos!
